Cross-Dock. Restack. Store. Deliver. Around The Clock. Around The Nation.

Load shifted mid-haul and your pallets are leaning. The receiving dock refused the delivery. Driver's hours of service are up and the trailer still has to move. The load has to roll in two hours or the delivery is dead. Call dispatch, tell us what the freight needs, and we have an answer before you reach the next exit. One DFW dock. Every cross-dock service your freight needs.

Serving: Brokers  ·  Carriers  ·  Shippers  ·  DispatchersLocal, Regional, and National Reach

Move Solutions team member moving freight

The Dock, The Fleet, The Crews. All Under One Roof To Serve Your Operations.

Move Solutions is part of the Total Office Solutions family of companies: Move Solutions, Office Furniture Plus, Office Boy, Tech Team Solutions, and Paint & Carpet One. Together we operate one of the largest commercial moving, warehousing, and FF&E operations in the Southwest, with over 400,000 square feet of warehouse, showroom, and staging space in Irving, plus additional operating facilities in Austin and San Antonio.

That scale is why we can do what smaller cross-dock operators can’t: run round-the-clock weekday operations with at least one forklift operator on the floor at all times, keep dispatch reachable when brokers need an answer, and pull fleet, labor, and dock capacity whenever a job demands more than the ordinary cross-dock operator can field.

As a founding member of the Office Moving Alliance (OMA), our reach extends well beyond DFW through 85+ partner companies in 30+ countries, covering 97% of the US within 150 miles. Local in Dallas. National when you need it.

Cross-Dock and Transloading Services in Dallas-Fort Worth.

Cross-dock operation moving freight trailer to trailer

Cross-Dock

Trailer to trailer with little or no storage in between. We work damaged trailers, driver-hour limits, and distribution disconnects. We're the dock in the middle, so your freight keeps moving.

Pallet restack and rework on the dock

Restack & Rework

Shifted pallets, leaning loads, refused freight at Target or Walmart. We pull the load, rework the pallets, and send it back on the trailer safe to transport. Materials, labor, and documentation all included on the quote upfront.

Short-term pallet storage in the warehouse

Short-Term Storage

A few nights to a few months. Pallet-in, pallet-out billing with daily storage rates. Event staging, trade show overflow, multi-order holds, and project receiving. Scalable to whatever volume you need.

Freight transloaded between vehicles

Transload

Transfer freight between vehicles and configurations. Container to trailer. Full truck to lift-gate. Loose cargo built onto pallets ready to ship. Whatever shape and size your freight needs to reach its next scheduled stop.

Final mile delivery truck in DFW

Final Mile

When the original carrier can’t finish the job locally, we run it on a Move Solutions truck. Our fleet is DFW-based and knows the delivery landscape. One handoff, one trip, one invoice back to the broker.

Emergency trailer unload and rework

Emergency Unload

Trailer breaches, refused loads, damaged goods consolidation, and freight disposal. One call to dispatch gets your load off the trailer and onto our dock so your driver can get back on the road fast.

How We Work With You.

Dispatch

Even for emergency service, we need a call to dispatch before you arrive. We confirm the dock, the crew, and your timing.

Arrive

Driver pulls into our gated yard at the confirmed window. Trailer backs to the dock. Our crew takes it from there.

Solve

Cross-dock, restack, store, transload, or hold. We work the freight until it is cleared to move again, documented and ready for the next leg of its journey.

Reload

Back on the trailer. Driver back on the road. Documentation sent to broker and shipper same day.

Turnaround varies by freight volume, condition, and available labor. A quick cross-dock can be minutes. A full floor-loaded 53′ restack can take hours. We give you a realistic window on the dispatch call.

Three Case Studies From Our Dock.

The Ice Storm

Loading docks during a DFW ice storm

When DFW iced over, we stayed open.

Winter 2025 · DFW Ice Event

Hard-hit areas shut their delivery docks. Move Solutions stayed open. We brought in 8 trailers of product and held them until destinations reopened. Not one load was turned away, lost, or returned to shipper.

The Gummies Project

Shrink-wrapped pallets ready for pickup

60 parcels from 12 carriers, ready on event day.

National Pop-Up Brand

A national brand needed local facilities to receive 60 sporadic parcel and freight deliveries ahead of each pop-up event. We received, palletized, and handed off two pallets on event day.

The Water Restack

Water pallets reworked and loaded

A restack that held after the trailer dropped.

Carrier Rescue · DFW

A carrier had paid $900 elsewhere for a restack that didn’t hold. We reworked every pallet. The driver dropped his trailer on the way out. The load survived the impact.

Quick Answers.

What are your operating hours?

Our warehouse is staffed around the clock Monday through Friday, with at least one forklift operator on the floor at all times. Saturday coverage is typical through 7 PM and Sunday coverage runs 8 AM to noon for housekeeping and light tasks. Weekend scheduling is confirmed the night before. Any work outside these windows is arranged through dispatch.

Do I need to call before arriving?

Yes. Even for emergency service, we need a call to dispatch before you arrive so we can confirm the dock, the window, and the labor you’ll need. This also helps us tell you upfront whether we can honor your target delivery window.

How quickly can you accept a load?

Most inbound freight can be scheduled the same day you call. For urgent cross-docks during business hours, we often take trailers within the same shift. For large restacks or multi-trailer events, we may need a few hours of lead time to pull the right crew together.

What do you charge?

Pricing is handled through dispatch or your broker on a per-job basis. Most work is priced on pallets in, pallets out, plus labor and materials. After-hours, weekend, and holiday work is priced accordingly.

Do you work with brokers directly?

Yes. Brokers drive the majority of our cross-dock work. We respond to broker bids directly and partner with major broker networks across the country. If you’re a broker, dispatch is the single phone number you need; we’ll quote the job and confirm the dock in one call.

What size shipments can you handle?

A single pallet to a full truckload. We regularly take anything from a handful of parcels through FedEx and UPS up to multi-trailer freight events. If it fits in a 53′ trailer, we can usually find a dock for it.

What can’t you handle?

We are a dry warehouse and not a food-grade facility, and we do not accept HAZMAT freight. Refrigerated loads are time-sensitive and limited to cross-docks that move truck-to-truck with no staging. Alcohol work is limited to emergency rework from a disrupted delivery; we cannot be part of your distribution chain. All specialty freight requires coordination and approval through dispatch before arrival.

How do you protect my freight?

Fenced, gated yard with camera-monitored access. Your freight stays where you left it, and dispatch is reachable at any hour if something comes up.

What documentation do I get?

Standard BOL updates and signed delivery confirmations on everything we handle. For restacks and reworks, we document pallet counts, condition, and damaged units. For brokers and shippers who want them, inbound and outbound photos are available on request.

What equipment do you have on-site for cross-dock and restack?

Fully maintained forklifts and pallet jacks at every facility. Fork clamps, fork extensions, dock levelers, dock plates, pallet straighteners, and shrink wrap machines. We invest in the equipment that keeps cross-docks fast and restacks safe, so your freight is on the right trailer, properly configured, and ready to roll.

Where are you located?

Our Irving facility sits in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex at 2201 Chemsearch Blvd, within easy reach of the major freight corridors. Service radius extends out to Waco to the south, with Office Moving Alliance partners handling freight beyond that. Call dispatch for gate instructions.

The Call You’ll Be Glad You Made.
